What you'll need to succeed :
You will be expected to be able to perform the following: Control system design, configuration, and commissioning. Define/implement process control strategies. Implement new process control technologies to optimize energy and sustain production. Perform systems administration, backup, restoration, and disaster recovery. Advance process control strategies and design. Interface between systems using Modbus or OPC. Train and develop young engineers. Must have a minimum of 9 years’ experience in control systems with at least 4 years of work experience in DeltaV systems.

We are seeking an Instrument Engineer specialist in Control Systems to work under Abqaiq Plants Operation Department (APOD). APOD process hydrocarbons at the highest standards of safety, reliability, efficiency and in an environmentally responsible way through empowered competent teams and using state of the art technologies.
Should hold a Bachelor degree in engineering. Must be capable of performing control system upgrade and switchover activities. Should have the knowledge of the following: Process control, ESD, instrumentation, and data networking. DeltaV control system and DeltaV SIS. DeltaV applications including DeltaV AMS and APC.
