Diploma in an Engineering discipline or equivalent Minimum of five (5) years of seafaring experience as marine Deck Officer, or similar Marine experience, Master (FG) license Background and working knowledge of Offshore Support Vessel or Marine Operations is preferable. Comprehensive experience within the Oil & Gas industry in a similar role (desirable). Good knowledge of offshore equipment, systems and associated regulations / legislation.

For our client QP in Qatar Controls, Coordinates & Directs, all Integrated Operational & unplanned (routine / non-routine) maintenance activities of QP Refinery complex at Mesaieed, (Crude Refineries, Condensate refinery, RFCC & Product Treatment Complex, SRU & Utilities Section and Oil Movement) on all days including week-ends & holidays. Responsible as OM (R) after the normal working hours, weekends and holidays. Initiates Emergency Response and activates Emergency Control Centre as Emergency Manager until the ER team takes over the centre.
Performs a variety of routine maintenance and inspection activities on the Company's mobile equipment and lifting accessories as per the directions by the Equipment Supervisor. Includes carrying out visual inspection of equipment, topping up oils, water and fuel, cleaning, and preparing equipment for inspection and licensing. Attends tackle store to receive, issue, clean, lubricate and store lifting accessories as directed.
Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent from an internationally recognized university. 8-10 years' varied maintenance experience, specifically or similar fixed mechanical plant in an industrial environment, preferably in the Gulf region. Computer literate – with experience in MS Windows and MS Office. Experience in any CMMS package would be an advantage. Valid driving license.
Prepare the project budget Monitor /control the budget during various stages of project Ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded Prepare budget revisions as and when major scope changes occur and or variations are identified and approved by Client. Attend project meetings and discuss cost related reports with PMT to ensure that expenditures are kept within the project budget. Generate the report to compare budget vs actual vs earned costs Perform ad-hoc duties related to cost control as required.
